The Griffaloes A band of baby boomers specializing in classic rock and electric blues, The Griffaloes were born in a Northern Virginia garage, and have emerged as one of the area's newest and hardest working guardians of rock and roll traditions. The Griffaloes consist of a group of one-time musicians who, long ago, put aside their childlike passion for music to be responsible citizens and mature adults ­ raising families, building respected careers, and living the life of “another day, another $.60 after taxes.” But now, decades later, with the kids grown up and careers at their peaks, the childlike passion remains.
