About Us

David “Big Daddy” Glazer
Guitar and vocals - An average kid from the notorious Howard Beach neighborhood of New York City, David first caught the rock and roll bug, like many of us, in April, 1964, when The Beatles had the top five singles on the Billboard charts all at the same time. Other influences: The Kinks, Elvis Costello, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Pretenders, Counting Crows, Radiohead, Murali Coryell. “There is still good rock and roll being recorded today; you just have to look a little harder to find it.” Educated in the U.S. and U.K. ultimately as a lawyer, finding his way into the insurance and financial planning business, David is one of the co-founders of The Griffaloes, started as a house band for his employer, playing company events and re-writing rock and blues standards as humorous parodies with corporate themes.
